Physicians Rehab Solution is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Manager (FT) Near Bowling Green, KY

Physicians Rehab Solution is a national organization seeking a qualified individual to join the team in the position of Revenue Cycle Manager. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and motivated leader that has experience in physical and occupational therapy front office operations. This team member will be open to training, input, and daily mentorship/collaboration from the PRS operational team and leadership.

This position will be responsible for the management of PT/OT billing, coding, and financial responsibilities of assigned front office clerical staff in collaboration with the PRS Leadership.

Office based in Bowling Green, KY. No remote options available.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or Equivalent Experience
  • Holds current certification as either, CBCS and/or CPC
  • Minimum 2-3-year(s) experience in Medical Office/Front Desk Setting (Physical Therapy Experience a plus)
  • Minimum 1-2 year(s) experience with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Billing a plus.
  • Knowledge of commercial and federal insurances
  • Knowledge of authorizations/verifications
  • Understands the importance of upfront collections
  • Understands the importance of an effective and highly efficient workflow ensuring authorizations and claims are obtained, tracked, and processed properly.
  • Experience with various healthcare EMRs (therapy EMR experience suggested)
  • Knowledge of specific therapy modifiers and billing methodologies
  • Understanding of CPT codes and ICD 10 coding
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of physical therapy billing, out-of-network benefits, etc.
  • Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
  • All other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies/procedures, culture, and organizational structure.
  • Knowledge and regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
  • Strong Customer service skills
  • Must have the ability to be mentored and receptive to management training processes.
  • Create and maintain an environment that is consistent with the company’s values and objectives.
  • Conveys a professional image and attitude.
  • Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy and occupational therapy process.
  • Identify and implement the learning needs of the clerical staff.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
  • Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Ability to self-reflect and become self-aware.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
