About the Medical Assistant Position:
ProHealth Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a pediatrics and adolescent specialty practice in Pasadena, CA.

This is primarily a Front Office position, with basic Back Office assistance as needed.

What We Offer for Our Medical Assistant Position:

• Competitive Starting Salary: $20/hr. based on experience.
• Location: Pasadena, CA.
• Work Schedule: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, one week of vacation after one year, one week of sick leave annually, and a 401(k) Plan eligibility after one year.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist in the front office, with phones, checking in patients, checking insurances, messages, authorizations, referrals, running reports, collecting co-pays, and scheduling appointments.
• Assist in the back office as needed, such as greeting and rooming patients, recording vitals, etc.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Formal Medical Assistant certification or equivalent education.
• At least two years of relevant Medical Assisting experience, especially in a family/pediatric/adolescent practice setting.
• Compliance with all current COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
