Job Summary :

Under general supervision, this position will complete duties that include assembly of precision components or subsystems having both opto-mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

Assemble and test individual sub-assemblies

Perform basic soldering

Perform precision cleaning and preparation of components for assembly / usage in subsystems or end-product

Perform complex bonding and curing procedures

Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation

Inspect and verify that work is complete and correct

Job Qualifications :

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.

S. Departments of State or Commerce.

High school diploma or equivalent; A.S. preferred.

1 to 2 years of experience in a related technical field.

PCB Assembly experience preferred.

Soldering experience / certification preferred.

Demonstrated ability to learn on the job.

Meticulous attention to detail.
