- Using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive incoming and outgoing goods, book in and move stock.
- Manage and record the allocation of goods in warehouse and assist with picking for the lines.
- Forward plan to ensure stock is present to fulfill sales order book. Check lead time for short/outstanding stock.
- Work with UK on the containers received for stock levels and purchasing requirements.
- Enter data and work orders and completion on Oracle .
- Create and maintain a cycle count program ensuring 99.8% stock accuracy.
- Lead CI projects to increase inventory turns, decrease lead times, and save cost.
- Lead warehouse organization kaizen events and maintain/improve after reset.
- Performs physical cycle counts of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Assist with dispatch and shipping documentations.
- Develop ownership over other aspects of the business (safety, quality or similar)
- Some Forklift driving (training will be given).
- 3 years of experience in Inventory Control, shipping, or Warehouse Management.
- Shipping and receiving experience essential.
- Demonstrated experience of logistics, shipping, process and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience of stock take and cycle counts.
- Ability to communicate in English both spoken and in writing.
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Detail oriented, perfection focused.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts and report data.
- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and familiar with MRP/ERP system such as SAP/ Oracle.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Forklift licence preferred but training will be given.
- Familiar with Health and Safety.
