Primary Objective
- As the Warehouse Associate , we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customers’ orders, and inventory checks.
- This position involves the daily use of forklift equipment.
- Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.
- Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, and stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operates forklift equipment.
- Maintains the clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, general office maintenance, etc.
- May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules outlined in the Safety Program and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
- You are bending and lifting to 70 lbs.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience; Forklift Operator.
- 1 years previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be okay with Background and Drug Screen.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear.
- The associate must be able to lift 15-30 lbs regularly; at certain times, you may be required to lift to 70 lbs safely.
- Tile boxes or other materials that weigh over 36 inches or more than 70 lbs. need team lifts.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.” (Adding this option to differentiate weight requirement on a frequent vs limited basis).
