We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Vice President of Rare Earth Separation Engineering to spearhead our entire rare earth extraction program. You will be responsible for shaping the future of our technology, driving innovation, and ensuring we remain at the forefront of sustainable and efficient rare earth element recovery. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone with exceptional technical mastery, strategic acumen, and a passion for shaping the future of clean energy and advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our long-term strategy for rare earth separation technology, aligning it with corporate sustainability goals and market trends. 
  • Manage and direct the entire rare earth separation engineering team, including researchers, engineers, technicians, and project managers. 
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation within your team, actively identify and champion the development of new and advanced solvent extraction technologies and lead the implementation of groundbreaking solutions. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, academia, and research institutions to stay ahead of the curve and foster collaboration. 
  • Oversee the efficient and safe operation of our existing rare earth separation facilities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing performance. 
  • Be a thought leader and industry expert, actively representing the company at conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings. 
  • Effectively manage budgets and resources allocated to rare earth separation engineering, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to your team, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. 
  • Consistently exceed expectations and achieve ambitious goals for rare earth extraction efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of post-doctoral industry experience. 
  • Proven track record of success in leading large-scale engineering teams and delivering impactful results in the field of rare earth separation. 
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge solvent extraction technologies and optimizing complex chemical processing systems. 
  • In-depth understanding of the entire rare earth value chain, from feedstock sourcing to final product purification. 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability, with a proven track record of making sound investment decisions and driving profitable growth. 
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and build high-performing teams. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Passionate about sustainability and committed to responsible resource extraction practices.
