Job SummaryThe Social Media Content Creator is a new position on our Media Services team within the Integrated Marketing & Communications department at Phoenix Contact. This role will be responsible for creating highly engaging social media content, including videos, photos, graphics, animations, and infographics. If you like to dedicate your time to the creative aspect of social media content, while others focus on community management, let’s chat. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Harrisburg, PA office.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and development of high-impact, visually engaging social media assets, including but not limited to: videos, photos, graphics, animations, and infographics.
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
• Measuring and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns.
• Ensure all content and social media assets meet all defined brand and legal standards, following established procedures and tools/workflows.
• Maintain effective communication channels and working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Media Marketing, Video Production, Art, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years developing social media content in a business environment (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok).
• Exceptional portfolio that showcases creativity, visual skills, high graphic standards, and solid conceptual, color and layout skills through static, dynamic, and interactive media.
• Exhibit fluency in standard visual design software tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or animation software.

• Have a valid driver’s license.
