Electronic Assembler Overview:

The Electronic Assembler performs various tasks that may include machine assisted and/or manual assembly, value add assembly, final assembly, soldering, assembling wires and cables, attaching various connectors, quality inspection, electrical testing, packaging, labeling, and more. The Electronic Assembler also has the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and the flexibility to work in teams, small batch production, or flow lines.

As an Electronic Assembler, you will:

  • Possess the ability to operate various hand tools and other equipment
  • Understand basic electronics concepts and can follow wiring schematics and diagrams
  • Perform hand assembly per the production drawing
  • Responsible for recording assembly and quality inspection data
  • Focus on increasing productivity in all activities

We are looking for an Electronic Assembler who has:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • A minimum of one year experience hand assembling small parts
  • The ability to read and comprehend English written production documents and drawings
  • A positive attitude toward all aspects of work
  • Applies effort and energy to lifelong learning and strives to continually grow
  • A high school diploma or GED.

Job Functions for an Electronic Assembler:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for at least 4 hours
  • Must be able to lift or move containers up to 50 pounds
  • Able use portable staircase and climb to12 foot heights
  • Must be willing to cross train in several assembly and machine operational functions
  • Able to attend training and pass an IPC 610 and 620 class
