Phoenix Community Services is Hiring a Medical Department Assistant Near Anderson, IN

Medical Department Assistant

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a Valid drivers license
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be a CNA, STNA, MA, or CCMA
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively regarding completing all required documentation and reports and following all written and oral instruction.
  • Must have CPR training approved by Red Cross
  • Must have negative TB test or X-ray.
  • Must meet all requirements of the Criminal Background check
  • Must pass drug test as followed by our Policies and Procedures

Ensuring appointment logs are reviewed for standard. And are made and coordinated with RSC'S

Reviewing client documents and ensuring updates, compliance, and report to the Nurse and QIDP'S of findings

Medical Housekeeping:

  • Reporting, ordering, and obtaining needed medical supplies or equipment for homes, offices, and day programs
  • Pharmacy medication/treatment transactions
  • Agency medication practicums monthly
  • Train all newly hired employees on vitals, skin assessments, seizure's, and diet alterations
  • Obtain appointment notes from RSC'S . Upload and report them to the nurse for review
  • Assisting in appointments
  • Ensuring all medical records in master files are organized , current, and up to date
  • Communicate with Guardian's, Case Management, Physicians offices and pharmacies
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of Phoenix Community Services
  • Attends scheduled In-Service training as required
  • Complete all duties assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
