The Shift Leader position is designed to operate as a lead person in charge throughout their shift. You will be responsible for opening and/or closing the store. Additionally, this person will delegate tasks, maintain a balanced register/POS system and solve minor issues that arise among team members and/or customers. Responsibilities also include; leading a team of 2 or 3, keeping a pleasant working environment, and giving great customer service. In addition, you will serve products, complete transactions along with maintaining cleanliness throughout the store. Must also attend a required staff meeting meeting twice a month

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EXPERIENCE: Retail and/or food service background. Minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory/leadership role preferred.

• MATH & LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to communicate clearly while maintaining a pleasant attitude. Must be able to perform basic math and count cash for register/POS transactions. Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions, use equipment, methods, processes, and procedures.

• Must be able to work with and analyze sales numbers.

• EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma. Supervisory/ Lead experience preferred.

• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The job may require you lifting semi-heavy materials, have the flexibility and strength to load supplies and equipment (around the store and in/out of vehicles). Capable of scooping hard ice cream/water ice on a repetitive basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
