Clinical Informatics Associate Job Description
The primary purpose of the Clinical Informatics Associate is to provide daily administrative support to the Quality Department team under the direction of the Senior Director of Quality Improvement and Risk Management and the Director of Clinical Informatics.
Qualifications: The Clinical Informatics Associate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or Information Technology, with a background in healthcare preferred. Technical experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe (Microsoft Access experience preferred). The Clinical Informatics Associate will also have experience with an electronic health record (EHR) (e.g., EPIC, eClinicalWorks) and population health tools (e.g., eBO, i2i, Azara DRVS, and CAREware) preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Administrative: Provide daily administrative support of the currently utilized population health tools, i2i Tracks and Azara DRVS. Create accounts for new staff when requested and provide initial orientation to the tool. Support existing staff with account issues, including password resets and lockout support. Complete data mapping requests and requirements with support of DoC. Support customizations to daily clinic tools (e.g. huddle sheets).
Electronic Health Records: Provide daily administrative support for CAREware, an electronic health and social support services information system for HRSA's Ryan White HIV/AIDS recipients and providers. Support existing staff with account issues, including account lockouts and password resets. Complete reporting requirements as directed by DoC, including running reports and completing data clean-up activities in Excel.
Quality Assurance: Provide administrative support to Quality team for completion of grants, internal and external quality, and audit reports. Facilitate the completion of requests from internal stakeholders, including frontline staff and senior leaders. Complete data visualization tasks. Complete document formatting and editing tasks to support internal and external reports and presentations.
Other: Attend and support all internal and external meetings as assigned by DoC. Meeting attendance within the scope of this role include but are not limited to: FIGHT Quality Department Team Meeting, FIGHT Youth and Adult Medicine Quality Improvement Meetings, external stakeholder/partner meetings including Health Federation of Philadelphia, HSRA, DHH, etc.
Salary range: Competitive
Travel Requirements: Minimal local travel required between Philadelphia FIGHT Health Centers.
Work Hours: 40 Hours/Week, Hybrid
