Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency is Hiring a Veterinary Radiologist Near Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency (PASE) is a privately owned and rapidly growing specialty and emergency hospital located in Philadelphia. At PASE, we are committed to providing individualized, patient-focused care to all of our patients, while fostering an environment of respect and collaboration among our healthcare team. We are very proud of the team of specialists, emergency doctors, and support staff at our hospital and the care we provide to our patients and their families.

We are currently seeking a second boarded or board-eligible Veterinary Radiologist to join our dynamic team as we plan our expansion into our new 25,000-square-foot facility. We offer a collaborative and flexible work environment with state-of-the-art equipment to support your expertise in veterinary radiology.

Current Equipment:

  • MyVet CT i3D
  • GE Signa 1.5T MRI Trailer
  • Aplio i700 US machine
  • Sound SmartDR X-ray system
  • Asteris Keystone PACS and reporting system
  • Future equipment in our new facility:
  • Canon Aquilion Lightning 80 CT, Canon Fortian 1.5T MRI, a C-arm, additional ultrasound and X-ray equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of radiographs, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Perform and interpret ultrasounds for both inpatients and outpatients
  • Interpret teleradiology cases through the PASE teleradiology service
  • Flexible work hours and days, with on-call duties available for extra pay
  • Weekend availability is preferable
  • Provide diagnostic imaging CE to the local referral community and the PASE team

Required Accreditation:

  • Licensed veterinarian in good standing in the state of PA (DVM or equivalent)
  • Must have and maintain DACVR or DECVDI credentials in good standing or be board eligible.
  • Final year residents are also welcome to apply

Shift Expectations:

  • Full-time: flexible 4 day a week schedule
  • Part-time: 1-2 days a week
  • Weekend coverage (partial or full Saturday coverage) is preferable, as we expand additional specialty services to 6 days a week
