Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency is Hiring a Veterinary Ophthalmologist Near Philadelphia, PA

Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is seeking a board-certified Ophthalmologist to join our growing team. We are a privately owned multi specialty and emergency veterinary hospital, located in Center City, Philadelphia, drawing cases from the greater Philadelphia area.

We offer:

  • Modern facilities: Currently located in a modern and well-equipped 12,000sq ft hospital. Our new and beautiful 30,000sq ft hospital is currently under construction two blocks away, and is set to be completed in late 2024.
  • Modern ophthalmology equipment: You will enter a practice already equipped for ophthalmology exams, diagnostics, medical/topical treatments, and surgical procedures. This includes:
  • Ultraview XL Ultrasound System with multiple probes
  • Zeiss OPMI Lumera i surgical microscope
  • Anterior Deluxe V5-2.5k Elite Phaco Unit
  • Cryomatic Cryo System
  • E-4 Endoscopy Surgical System
  • Multiple Kowa SL-17 slit lamps
  • Vantage Plus Slimline Convertible Wireless Indirect Headlamp
  • Reichert Tono-Pen AVIA
  • iCare TONOVET Plus
  • A collaborative team: Our team currently includes a large 24/7 emergency service, critical care, surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, radiology, and anesthesiology.
  • Private ownership: PASE is owned and operated by multiple specialists that are on the floor every day, allowing us to discuss and implement changes quickly and effectively. No need to reach up the corporate ladder for approval.
