7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, incidents, and observations, following agency protocols and guidelines.
8. Collaborative Teamwork: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for individuals.
9. Safety and Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly and appropriately, following established protocols and ensuring the safety of individuals in your care.
10. Adherence to Policies and Regulations: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies, maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional ethics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training or education in healthcare or related field is a plus).
• Previous experience as a caregiver or direct service professional is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidates.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and the care team.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions while also demonstrating strong teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required for the position).
• Ability to pass background checks and provide references.
