PHI is Hiring a Business Analyst - Helipass Near Lafayette, LA

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Business Analyst at PHI Helipass, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our cutting-edge logistics software and hardware solutions and the unique business needs of our clients in the Oil and Gas industry. This multifaceted role will require your expertise in understanding and defining business requirements, collaborating with clients, and seamlessly communicating those requirements to our Software Engineers. As a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will contribute to the success of various projects by providing ongoing analysis, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed for project requirements.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing for enhancements, patches, or system troubleshooting.
    • Gather and analyze user requirements and business processes.
      • Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps for program development or modification.
      • Consult on complex projects, serving as a high-level contributor.
      • Collaborate on user documentation and training materials to enhance system usability.
        • Develop and execute client specific functional test plans to validate performance.
          • Develop system procedures based on user requirements and business needs.
      • Chart business process flows using flow-charting software to enhance understanding and optimization.
        • Provide end-user training and demonstrations on software and hardware solutions.
          • Design, develop, test, and support system customer queries and reports.

QUALIFICATION REQUIEMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a software development team.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
        • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
        • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
