Production Utility

The Production Utility is responsible for learning the ins and outs of all production jobs to assist where needed. The Utility will also be responsible for filling in for absences on any and all positions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Inspect garments and ensure garments that need repaired or replaced are scanned using a reader
• Hang garments onto a hanger
• Utilize productivity tracking system
• Read load lists for the routes
• Fill each cage with the items needed for the route according to the load list
• Organize carts by route
• Responsible for determining how many loads are needed to fill routes
• Run the auto bagger
• Use the mat rolling station to roll mats.
• Place mats on appropriate cart for each load.
• Separate logo mats from other mats.
• Audit the product to make sure customer is getting high quality products.
• Prepare garments to be pressed
• Operate the press machine to remove wrinkles from garments
• Remove pieces from pressing machine and hang them for cooling
• Fold flat goods according to each product to be prepared
• Count number of items per set and ensure proper inventory is placed together.
• Make a final inspection of item to ensure customer receives high quality products.
• Organize flat goods according to color, size, and style.
• Remove flat goods from inventory that do not meet quality requirements.
• Tie flat goods together with bundle machine.
• Bag flat goods when necessary.
• Other production duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to stand for an 10-12 hour shift
• Must be able to work scheduled shift, this position could work 1st or 2nd shift
• Must have high attention to detail
• Must be capable of working at an efficient pace to meet production expectations
• Willingness to be reliable to your team
• Eagerness to put forth your best effort each day

WORKING CONDITIONS

There will be long periods of standing, bending, and using your hands. Working conditions include hot and cold weather.
