Qualifications (Correlating with Michigan Legal Requirements):

• Licensed clinician/therapist in the state of Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LP, etc.).
• LLMSW will be considered, dependent on clinical experience and training.
• Trauma-informed and interested in furthering knowledge on trauma-based practice methods.
• Team and community-minded: The ability to collaborate with others: building upon self-awareness and personal values to better our surrounding communities.
• Adherence to all state and federal laws and ethical guidelines.

Preferences (including, but not limited to):

• EMDR/Brainspotting: Certification or willingness to pursue training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy; and Brainspotting.
• Affirming Psychotherapy: Experience, or a strong interest in working with LGBTQIA clients, and a commitment to providing affirmative and culturally competent care.
• Meditation and Mindful-based practice: Proficiency in mindfulness meditation techniques to support clients in their mental health journey.
• Somatics: Expertise or a willingness to incorporate somatic therapeutic practice, or further your knowledge.
• Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT)
• Art Therapies: Skills or interest in utilizing art-based therapies to enhance client healing and self-expression.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions with clients using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of psychotherapy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of need.

Pay: $56.00 - $84.00 per hour
