Job Description:
As a Sales Representative at our supplement manufacturing and packaging company, you will play a vital role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for driving sales revenue, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our product offerings. Your primary focus will be on achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market segments.
Proactively reach out to prospective clients to generate leads and secure new accounts.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our products.
Build and maintain customer relationships:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster repeat business.
Understand customer needs and tailor product solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Provide exceptional customer service and promptly address any inquiries or concerns.
Achieve sales targets:
Create and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prepare sales forecasts, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials.
Product knowledge and expertise:
Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market developments.
Educate customers on the benefits and features of our products through effective presentations and demonstrations.
Team collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and customer service, to ensure customer requirements are met.
Communicate customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the dietary supplement industry or related field.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to generating leads and closing sales.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of dietary supplements, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
