Job DescriptionThis role will be responsible for mapping the existing process for recertifying and extending shelf life of process material, developing, and implementing a standard process for recertifying and extending shelf life of process materials.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or quality experience with shelf life process material.
- Solid manufacturing process knowledge/experience.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are critical to interact and communicate with other people effectively.
- Being detail-oriented is an important to swiftly and accurately identify any potential quality concerns with a product.
- Critical thinking: A quality engineer needs to have the ability to analyze and evaluate information, data, and situations logically and objectively.
- Teamwork: A quality engineer needs to be able to work well with others, collaborate, and share ideas and feedback.
- Able to drive continuous improvement.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship.
- Degree in a technical field is highly recommended with 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality control methods.
- Analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action tools.
- Experience with process mapping.
- Understanding of the different types of process material and the life cycle of shelf life for process material.
- Formal qualification to be related to field of work.
