The Environmental Management – Generation team operates within the Land and Environmental Management Department and includes a staff of environmental professionals who provide support to the Power Generation line of business. Our work requires close integration between our team of land planners, environmental field specialists, biologists, and environmental scientists, as well as with law and environmental programs and the Power Generation line of business.
Position Summary
The Program Manager, Principal is responsible for program ownership and leadership of key Land and Environmental management initiatives, project management and integration within the Environmental Management and Power Generation teams. As a product, program and initiative owner, the successful candidate will be responsible for all elements of product lifecycle and ensuring that customers of the applications, Power Generation and Environmental Management integration and initiatives are supported and successful. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, establishing, building and reporting on key performance indicators and metric development that result in improved environmental support to Power Generation projects, license compliance and relicensing efforts.
The role is classified as hybrid (0-3 days per week in office), working primarily from your remote office and in-person in the Oakland General Office to attend team meetings or as business needs require.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $140,000.00
Bay Area Maximum: $238,000.00
