Senior Database Administrator 

Location: Hill AFB, Utah

Position Summary:

Command Cyber Solutions is seeking a qualified Senior Database Administrator in support of client located at Hill AFB, Utah.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the 75 ABW/SC systems administration personnel in sustainment of the Linux and Windows based servers. • Monitor, administer, and ensure recoverability and adherence of VMWare technical infrastructure and application environments.• Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. • Coordinate changes to computer databases. • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.• Provide systems administration support which includes, but is not limited to:o Support of both hardware and operating system.o Maintenance of the applications running on the servers. • Coordinate Oracle Data Base Administration tasks. o Examples of these tasks include, but are not limited to, installing security patches; completing backups, completing system restoration and rebuilding database tables; software installs and version upgrades; correction/recovery of corrupted files; certificate management; password management; applying STIGs, SRGs, and IAVMs, etc.

Education, Certification & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience.• Five (5) or more years of experience.• Active Secret Clearance.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION (only one required): 

• Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Identity and Access Management.• Oracle Audit Vault and Database Vault Firewall version 12.x and higher.• Oracle Database Backup Cloud Service.• Oracle Database Cloud Service.• Oracle Database Enterprise Edition version 11g and higher.• Oracle Database Vault version 11g and higher.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

• Basic office work environment at government facility location• Hours of operation are M-F between 0600-1800.• Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days• Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
