Petro Mart is Hiring a Store Manager Near Saint Peters, MO

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales management, employee management, and customer service. If you have a passion for retail and possess strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and meet store targets
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct employee orientation programs and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the buying team to ensure adequate stock levels
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and increase brand awareness
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Conduct performance evaluations for store staff and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements:
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in sales management techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on market trends
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
