Description
The outpatient rehabilitation clerk is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing the daily office routine in the Department.
The outpatient rehab clerk answers the telephone and coordinates communication among patient care staff as well as enters data into the computer and files information into patient and administrative charts.
Performs general clerical duties and duties as directed or required to insure the day-to-day operations of the department.
Preferred Education :
High School graduate or equivalent
Required Technical Skills :
Possess good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills, ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make decisions, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, clerical aptitude to maintain and organize records, and possess the ability to prioritize work and to work under pressure, and the ability to problem solve and grasp new ideas.
Must have basic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
Preferred Technical Skills :
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English, possess advanced computer skills, and understand basic statistics.
