Pay: $14.00 minimum and can increase based on experience.
Full Time position working varied shifts.

The Food Service Worker Performs a variety of duties related to the preparation and serving of food: Can work as a short order cook and do some food prep. May work as a cashier, may work in diet office. Cleans and sanitizes the kitchen, cafeteria, and patient dishes. Maintains departmental requirements for cleanliness. Complies with regulatory requirements.
Education
Required: Ability to read and write.
Preferred: High School graduate or G.E.D.
Technical Skills:
Required: Knowledge of cooking procedures, especially following recipes by measuring ingredients and following instructions. Maintenance and operation of kitchen equipment. Knowledge and practice of food service related records, forms and inventories. Cash handling best practices.
Preferred: Knowledge of therapeutic diets, age specific dietary needs and HIPPA requirements.
Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
ServSafe or HACCP certification current
Preferred Experience:
At least 1 year experience working in restaurants, hospitals or institutional kitchens or customer service oriented business.
