The PMA Clinic Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to nursing staff, ensuring quality medical care by nursing staff, ensuring availability of medical supplies in the delivery of services, and managing change. Duties include phone triaging of clinical needs, organizing and fielding clinical aspects of patient care, staff development to include: coaching, motivating, scheduling, evaluating, training, and developing clinical employees. Works closely with Practice Administrator, management team, physicians, staff, and patients assuring satisfaction and efficiency. Serves as a resource for nursing staff and assists with direct patient care as needed. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance, confidentiality, and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Required Technical Skills:
Nursing, supervision of employees, communication and interpersonal skills, understanding of physician office work flows.
Preferred Technical Skills:
As above plus EMR, understanding of insurance processes, quality improvement initiatives, office management.
Required Licensure /Registration /Certification:
LVN
Required Experience:
At least two years of nursing experience.
Preferred Experience:
At least three years of nursing experience, 2 of which were in a supervisory capacity.
