**Job Overview:**

Petersen Partners LLC is embarking on an exciting project to construct a luxurious 4300 sq ft custom home nestled behind Gozzer Ranch in Harrison, ID. We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in building a magnificent home from the foundation up. You will engage in a broad range of construction tasks, from flat work to intricate finish carpentry, within this two-story ICF concrete home that beautifully integrates with the sloping landscape for a walkout lower level.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Install foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using diverse materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites.

- Precisely fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, and both interior and exterior trim, utilizing tools like carpenter’s levels, plumb bobs, and laser levels.

- Construct and dismantle scaffolding and ladders for high-level structures.

- Plan project layouts, determine dimensions and materials requirements.

- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using a variety of tools, including hand tools, machines, or power saws.

- Ensure compliance with established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

- Craft or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures with woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.

- Assemble materials to construct frameworks or props, using hand tools, wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.

- Transport materials as needed around the jobsite.

- Manage worksite cleanup and debris removal.

**Requirements:**

- Demonstrated experience in carpentry and labor, with a preference for those with a background in the restoration industry or similar large-scale construction projects.

- Proficiency in various carpentry disciplines, including build, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, and experience with concrete structures.

- Competent in reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure precise construction and restoration efforts.

- Experience with CNC machinery for accurate material cutting and shaping, advantageous.

- Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

- Knowledge of water damage restoration or similar restoration techniques is a plus.
