Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame and procedures for accomplishing projects that are generally small in scope and/or routine.

• Documents work plan and staffing for each phase of projects that generally small in scope and/or routine.

• Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

• Gathers requirements for projects.

• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

• Coordinates project activities with activities of vendors and government agencies.

• Confers with project personnel to identify and coordinate resolution of problems.

• Prepares status reports for management or others, and modifies schedules or plans as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or similar.

• 1 year of experience as a Project Manager and/or project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

•  Completed or is taking formal training in project management.

• Knowledge of or willing to learn Microsoft Project and other project management software.
