Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months of hands-on experience within the veterinary industry through general practice, ER clinics, shelters, or through an RVT or pre-vet program is preferred
• Excellent reliability and dependability
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with computers and electronic medical record system
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, and stand while working with large dog breeds on the floor
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds
• Ability to restrain animals 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
