Job Summary: As a Mobile Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to clients' pets at their homes. You will travel with a fully equipped grooming van to perform grooming services, ensuring the highest standard of care and customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional grooming skills, a love for animals, and excellent customer service abilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to client preferences and breed standards.

2. Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.

3. Assess pets' coat and skin conditions, identifying any health issues or abnormalities, and report findings to pet owners.

4. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work area within the grooming van.

5. Provide personalized attention to each pet, addressing specific grooming needs and accommodating any special requests from clients.

6. Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques, coat care, and hygiene practices to promote their pets' health and well-being.

7. Manage appointment schedules, confirm appointments with clients, and maintain accurate records of services provided.

8. Drive and operate the grooming van safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and vehicle maintenance guidelines.

9. Uphold professionalism and positive representation of the grooming business, fostering strong relationships with clients and promoting repeat business.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, grooming techniques, and pet care best practices through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a professional dog groomer, with a minimum of 2 years of grooming experience.

2. Certification or training from a reputable grooming school or program preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming requirements.

4. Excellent grooming skills, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling techniques.

5. Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.

6. Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with pet owners.

7. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

8. Physical stamina and agility to lift and maneuver pets and grooming equipment.

9. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
