Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and irrigation systems. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems
- Install new irrigation systems as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on existing systems
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper water distribution for plants and lawns
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to complete tasks efficiently
- Dig trenches and install piping for irrigation lines
- Test irrigation systems for proper functioning
- Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Experience:
- Previous experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of landscaping practices and techniques
- Ability to operate power tools effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools used in irrigation system repair
- Strong understanding of how to irrigate gardens and landscapes
- Capability to build and adjust irrigation systems as required
