Peska Construction is Hiring a Job Cost Accountant Near Sioux Falls, SD
Peska Construction is currently accepting resumes for a project / job cost accountant. The project accountant will work closely with project managers on general contracting and land development projects. The position requires efficient data entry with a high degree of accuracy, an attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
Duties Include:
- Process AP invoices and payments
- Reconcile statements
- Process monthly pay requests and other receivables
- Monitor project receivables
- Keep accurate records for multiple construction projects
- Work with project budgets
- Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and project managers
- Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed.
Skill Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized including time management ability
- Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software
- 2 or 4 year accounting degree
