Pervenio is Hiring a Safety Specialist Near Minneapolis, MN

Safety Specialist

$90K to $110K - Bonus Eligible

Western Suburbs

(No remote or relocation assistance available for this role)

Looking for an experienced safety professional to coordinate continuous improvement for growing construction firm with nationwide footprint. You will lead and develop safety and compliance procedures to minimize the risk of injuries and incidents.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supports safety programs and safety training to identify best practices, gaps, and opportunities for sharing.
  • Conducts site visits to ensure compliance and identify opportunities to proactively reduce risks or hazards.
  • Provides input on incident investigation, root cause, and corrective actions.
  • Supports compliance policy and training and provides policy oversight and communication to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policy.
  • Interacts and works with employees from all levels within the organization to build a safety culture based on employee engagement and a goal of zero incidents.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years related work experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Compliance with all OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Able to travel up to 25% by air to regional offices and area facilities.
  • Experience in manufacturing. trades or construction preferred.
  • Multi-state experience a plus.
