Office in Midtown and Tribeca NYC. No remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

1. **Strategic HR Leadership:**

- Develop and implement HR strategies in alignment with the overall business objectives.

- Provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.

2. **Talent Acquisition:**

- Lead the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring the acquisition of top talent for Beefbar NYC.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to define staffing needs and execute recruitment plans.

3. **Employee Development and Engagement:**

- Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and contribute to career growth.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.

4. **Performance Management:**

- Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and evaluations.

- Implement strategies to recognize and reward high-performing employees.

5. **Compliance and Employee Relations:**

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary, fostering a culture of fairness and respect.

6. **Expansion Support:**

- Develop HR frameworks that support the company's expansion plans, including the opening of new locations and the scaling of existing teams.

7. **HR Analytics:**

- Utilize HR analytics to measure and report on key HR metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

- Make data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

HR certification: SHRM Certified Professional required

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.

- Proven experience as an HR Director in the hospitality industry, with a track record of success in similar roles.

- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

- Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.

Work and Education Experience

· At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resouces, at a similar caliber concept

· Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of both education and professional experience

· Hospitality background preferred

· SHRM membership, PHR or SHRM-certification preferred

Compensation and Benefits

· Annual salary range: $100,000/130,000

· Employer will cover a portion of Medical, Dental and Vision benefits

· 80 hours of flexible paid time off in the first year of tenure
