Job Title: Social Media Coordinator / Content Creator – Focus on TikTok & Instagram Growth

Location: Remote/In-Studio (Lower East Side, NY)

About Personal Fears: Personal Fears, an alternative NYC-based jewelry brand renowned for its high-quality stainless steel and sterling silver pieces, is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator. Our mission is to provide durable, stylish, and skin-friendly jewelry, and we're seeking a creative individual to help share our story and products with the world, especially on TikTok and Instagram.

The Role: As a Social Media Content Creator, you'll be the driving force behind our TikTok and Instagram presence, crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience. You'll be expected to understand, interpret and amplify our existing voice and content for Personal Fears on both platforms. You will be responsible for content ideation, pitching new ideas, production of approved concepts, and managing content schedules. Applicants must be based in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute content strategies for TikTok and Instagram that align with our brand identity and goals.
• Create engaging, high-quality videos and posts that showcase our products and their unique qualities.
• Ideate and pitch creative content ideas regularly to keep our brand fresh and engaging.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify trends, opportunities, and creative campaigns across both platforms.
• Monitor analytics on TikTok and Instagram to understand performance and refine strategies.
• Manage content scheduling to ensure a consistent presence on both platforms.
• Engage with our community, responding to comments and messages on both platforms.
• Work cross-functionally to support content creation for other social media platforms as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in creating captivating content on TikTok and Instagram.
• Strong understanding of trends, analytics, and best practices on both platforms.
• Ability to produce high-quality video and photo content – filming, editing, and photographic skills.
• Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics that align with the Personal Fears brand.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with content scheduling tools and community management practices.
• Passion for jewelry and a keen interest in the Personal Fears brand story.
