Full-time opportunity for entry-level accounting professional to work independently in an organization supporting seniors and persons with disabilities, and apply education and skills in the public sector. QuickBooks proficiency required.

Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations:
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal vouchers
- Audit preparation and compliance for 3-5 audits per year
- IT equipment inventory
- Answering questions from inhouse and offsite managers and employees
- Document scanning and filing

Candidates should have at least 1 year of accounting experience, plus some accounting training or education:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Familiarity with Bill.com, DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint helpful
- College-level accounting coursework or certificate program
- Familiarity with accounting practices for governmental or non-profit organizations very helpful
- Professional communication skills, in person and in writing
- Ability to occasionally travel locally outside the office for banking transactions or check signatures helpful
