Perry County Generations Child Care and Preschool is Hiring a Child Care Director Near Landisburg, PA

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our child care facility. As the Child Care Director, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and providing a nurturing and educational environment.

Responsibilities:

- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe environment for children

- Hire, train, and supervise child care staff, providing guidance and support as needed

- Implement educational programs that promote child development and learning

- Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or issues related to their child's care

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, enrollment, and other necessary documentation

- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Special Education or Human Services Field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in an educational setting

- Previous experience in a leadership role, such as a Child Care Director or Principal

- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children

- Familiarity with licensing regulations and requirements for child care facilities
