COORDINATOR – PERKINS GRANT – GRANT FUNDED
OLIVE-HARVEY COLLEGE
The Carl D. Perkins Technical Education Improvement Act of 2006 (Perkins IV) provides federal funding to the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) to support career and technical education (CTE) programs that provide students with the academic and technical skills necessary to succeed in today’s knowledge- and skills- based economy. Within CCC, CTE programs are defined as College to Career (C2C) programs. The Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) disburses and administers federal Perkins IV funds.
Reporting to a Dean or college administrator at an assigned college, a Coordinator- Perkins Program provides programmatic assistance, budgetary oversight, and technical support to key stakeholders, working towards accomplishing the grant’s funding objectives in compliance with ICCB requirements and in alignment with CCC’s goals and objectives. Performs related duties as required.
