Jobdescription
·Elicit requirementsusing interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards,surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios,event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflowanalysis, and/or viewpoints
·Decompose high-levelbusiness and user requirements into functional requirements specifying anappropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their workon the requirements
·Identify the current-and future-state business processes; define quality attributes, externalinterfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements
·Lead requirementsanalysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete,consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, andverifiable, and that they conform to standards
·Participate inrequirements prioritisation and facilitate the negotiation of requirementsamongst multiple stakeholders
·Work with the productmanager or project sponsor to document the product’s vision and the project’sscope
·Participate in peerreviews and inspections of requirements documents and work products derivedfrom those documents to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly
·Manage requirementstraceability information and track requirements status throughout the project
·Manage changes torequirements through effective application of change control processes andtools
·Provide knowledgetransfer
Desired Skills
·Five (5) years ofexperience in an IT Business Analyst role
·Two (2) engagementslasting more than six months in Business Analyst role
·Experience with allaspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
·Lead BA experience
·Bachelor’s degree inInformation Services
·Business AnalystCertification (IIBA certification or equivalent)
·Experience working onmultiple smaller projects at the same time
·Experience workingwith organizational process changes
