PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION LLC is Hiring a Controller Near , OK, OK

Performance Systems Integration (PSI) is looking for a Controller to join our management team!

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller is responsible for all aspects of the accounting operations of the company, including developing and maintaining an adequate system of internal controls, management of the month end close process, optimization and support of ongoing system implementations, integrations of acquired entities, compliance for all tax reporting authorities, and supervision of Accounts Payable department employees.

This position is eligible for remote work. Manager must approve remote work. To qualify for remote work status employee must have an adequate, quiet, and safe home office setup including a comfortable desk and chair, high-speed internet access, ability to safeguard and protect sensitive data.

Pay ranges from $130-$150k bonus, based on applicable skills and experience.

In this role you will:

  • Professionally represent the PSI principles of honesty and integrity
  • Prepare and assemble accurate and timely financial statements and supplemental schedules
  • Responsible for the monthly close of the books, reconciliation of accounts including monthly reconciliation of bank statements and preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting package
  • Manage all month end entries and reports, including full Balance Sheet account reconciliation, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, WIP and any other reports required by CFO
  • Apply strong knowledge of construction accounting: project/job cost accounting, percentage of completion accounting method and project review experience
  • Analyze business performance of operations that drive growth, strategy and profitability initiatives.
  • Supervise accounting staff responsible for Accounts Payable
  • Review job costs and overheads for corrective action
  • Prepare and file local, state and federal licenses
  • Partner with external providers in audit, tax, and insurance to complete mandatory filings
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly state sales tax reporting
  • Along with CFO and Director of Systems Innovation be a primary resource for system implementations including ongoing refinement, error resolution, and integration of acquisitions
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
  • Monitor daily transactions and financial activities
  • Develop and refine internal controls around financial reporting, segregation of duties, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS in accounting or finance at an accredited college or university.
  • MBA at an accredited college or university a plus.
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience with experience in service or construction industry preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with construction, progressive billing, or job costing accounting
  • Excellent accounting skills with high-level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and banking knowledge
  • Experience in assessing, analyzing and improving business performance
  • Systems Implementation a plus. Sage Intacct, Servicetrade, Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Very proficient at Excel and Word and adept to learning new software programs as required
  • Prior management experience and proven ability to manage and develop staff
