Position Summary:Responsible for managing and directing the workflow of the credit analysts assigned to the department. Implementing credit policy, monitoring and evaluating all applicable credit functions. Responsible for reviewing compliance with program and for training/evaluating staff. Supports the company's quality management programs by providing effective customer service to internal and external customers. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervises Collection associates to include, but not limited to: hiring, scheduling work, and providing training and guidance, establishing job standards and regularly evaluating performance.
  • Oversees the collection of accounts receivable, assists Corporate Credit in negotiating credit settlements and notes. Also ensures that the appropriate legal recourse is pursued.
  • Monitors and evaluates percentage of order releases used to determine accuracy of credit limits and customer deterioration, velocity of time to release orders, and velocity needed to determine payment trend analysis including days to settle legal collections.
  • Ensures compliance with the credit policy and keeps management informed on any deviations.
  • Responsible for reviewing all third party and legal accounts.
  • Demonstrates a strong service quality commitment through personal example and ensures that all associates understand their individual roles in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
2-4 years Commercial credit and/or collections or related
area experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors: Business management, accounting or related area
2-4 years Commercial credit and/or collections experience within foodservice industry
Supervisory experience
