WHAT DOES A SEASONAL MATERIAL HANDLER I DO?
As a Material Handler I, you will be updating stock quantities and locations within our warehouse management system. Receive inventory into stock. Pulling stock and packing customer orders. Attention to detail in this position is required to ensure the correct item is stocked and restocked, the inbound/outbound products are placed in their identified warehouse home locations, and all items are handled with care as the package is made ready for shipping.
Perfection Learning’s ultimate goal is to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering quality products in a timely fashion. To meet this goal, we need our team to work together by being flexible to work in different areas of the warehouse based upon business needs.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- Willing to work in warehouses without heat or air conditioning. Our distribution center is climate controlled, however some of the warehouse locations do not have heat or air conditioning.
- Willing to work independently for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer skills will be required
- Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen.
- Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Able to perform repetitive movements
- Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
