Job Summary:
The NetSuite Administrator is responsible for management of NetSuite and the integration of various systems to enable operational continuity across all functions: Website and e-commerce, CRM, quoting, order entry, procurement, operations, WMS, Ship Central, and finance. Their day-to-day duties involve configuring and maintaining the various modules within NetSuite to maximize its workflow and communication with other applications.
Essential Duties and Functions
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain NetSuite modules and enhancements as well as maintain third-party software connections to NetSuite, such as HubSpot, Magento, and Concur
- Build customizations using extensions and scripts to meet business needs.
- Support end-user requests for new saved searches, custom reports, key performance indicators, and dashboards.
- Maintain proper system access for user roles.
- Assist end users in meeting operational needs, such as supporting month-end close procedures and reporting, as well as developing and maintaining customized fields and workflow.
- Design Project Plans for the development, testing, and deployment of customizations, custom objects, third-party tools/applications, and new NetSuite functionality
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies that enhance or are required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform.
- Actively identify opportunities to leverage NetSuite functionality to improve operational efficiencies. Stay current with software capabilities, best practices, and upcoming releases.
- Administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of CRM, Order Entry, Accounting, E-commerce, WMS, and Ship Central modules
- Strong understanding/experience with finance, accounting, billing, revenue recognition, invoicing, and project management processes.
- 1-5 years hands-on experience with NetSuite administration/system applications, configuration, including saved searches, workflows, and user administration as well as third-party integrations.
- Working knowledge of web services, SQL, CSV imports, analytics, and scheduling scripts.
- Data analytics, reporting, and database experience (SQL and NetSuite).
- Experience with change-management processes and use of test plans when implementing changes.
- NetSuite Administrator Certification a plus.
