Duties:

• Providing direct care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
• Assisting residents with meals, as needed, which may include preparation, feeding, and clean-up after meals.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and maintain an individualized plan of care for each resident.
• Participating in recreational and therapeutic activities with residents, as appropriate.
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes or concerning trends to the nursing staff.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the resident's environment, which may include regular room checks and infection control measures.
• Documenting care and observations, as required, in the electronic medical records system.
• Adhering to all laws, regulations, workflows, and policies related to the delivery of CNA services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification, or the ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and documentation protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with residents, family members, and staff.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including lifting, transferring, and providing mobility assistance to residents.
