Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care services to our elderly patients including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Taking and recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and blood glucose monitoring.
  • Observing and reporting noticeable changes in the patient's physical condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, etc. to the nursing supervisor.
  • Assisting in rehabilitative activities as directed.
  • Ensuring patient rooms are clean and tidy, changing bed linens as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and also independently.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Submit proof of COVID vaccination
  • Minimum one-year experience in a similar role; experience in a long-term care environment would be an advantage.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrate commitment to delivering high-standard care to our patients.
  • Ability to work various schedules including weekends and holidays.
