Role description

In line with facility rules and procedures, and under the direction and supervision of our Registered Nurses, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are committed to offering our senior residents high-quality daily nursing care. Our main goal is to provide our residents with the best possible care.

We are currently looking for people to become CNAs for our team as our healthcare community expands. We provide thorough training and assistance to help you become a certified nursing assistant and join us in enhancing the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of physicians' reports through phone and electronic distribution promptly.
• Monitor laboratory information system and error logs.
• Collect patient demographics and diagnosis information to ensure accurate billing.
• Receive samples in the laboratory, order tests, and accession specimens.
• Aid in specimen processing and pre-analytical testing functions.
• Manage reference lab orders and results.
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection using proper therapeutic skills and following procedures for patients of all ages.
• Maintain work area and supplies in accordance with protocols between patients and at the end of the shift.
• May conduct waived laboratory testing on-site and report results in compliance with government standards.

Qualification

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• BLS/CPR Certification required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
