Percheron Operating is Hiring a Professional Land Surveyor Near Corpus Christi, TX

Job Description:

This position is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of projects, including managing office and field staff assigned to the project.

  • Plan, organize, execute, and supervise general project surveying services.
  • Develop and maintain positive client and internal company relationships.
  • Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team.
  • Participate in estimating and formal proposal composition on survey projects for multiple service lines.
  • Establish work plan and staffing needs for multiple large- and small-scale projects.
  • Supervise, direct, or conduct office analysis to establish tract or parcel boundaries.
  • Coordinate and supervise field staff. Be able to provide clear direction of project scope and expectations.
  • Coordinate with office staff and provide quality control of preparation of project deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • 10 years of boundary surveying and project execution experience.
  • Requires a Professional Land Survey License (PLS) in California.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
  • When applicable, ability to supervise technical staff members and field crews.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task. • Ensure deliverables meet quality control standards.
  • Eligible by education and experience to qualify for licensure as Professional Land Surveyor if not currently licensed.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
