Central to our success is the ability to run our Fulfillment Centers efficiently and effectively. We are young in our development of Fulfillment Centers, so we are looking for people who can execute the day to day as well as create what our future looks like. We are looking for individuals that are passionate about safety, people, cost, customer experience and quality.
Responsibilities
This person will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks within the Fulfillment Center:
- Leading and developing a team of hourly employees that work in a specific area of the Fulfillment Center
- Leverage data to drive core KPIs in order to promote and drive operational performance
- Creating a culture of continuous improvement across your specific area of responsibility
- Proactively turn high level ideas & concepts into actionable and scalable operational plans
- Effectively prioritize the workload of yourself, your team and cross functional partners to ensure the right tasks are being worked on while removing blockers where necessary
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed
About You
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, process driven and action oriented leader to join our core operating team. The ideal candidate is a people and process leader with experience running and driving performance in the operation. This person has a track record of bringing structure to something that is inherently messy, has field experience and is able to drive change.
- 3 years of work experience in warehouse and people management
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate sit down and stand up fork lifts a plus
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Excellent relationship building skills and a strong sense of curiosity
- Engaged by a highly productive and cross-functional environment in which you can influence and produce tangible results
- Thrives in autonomous and ambiguous work cultures
