Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Technical Project Management Associate in San Diego, CA. This is a hybrid position.

• Supports ongoing projects in the US Navy and associated maritime missions by providing direct project management and planning support to government customers.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, prepares for project and technical review sessions, and prepares status reports.
• Supports client projects through knowledge of and application of DoD acquisition best practices. 
• Assesses project issues and develops recommendations and solutions to meet project milestones.
• Provides direct project management support in areas of contract development and monitoring; hardware and software configuration management; cyber security assessment, implementation, and monitoring; and hardware and software test planning and reporting. 

Qualifications

• 5 years with BS/BA, 3 years with MS/MA, Min 0 years with PhD
• Secret security clearance
• Experience with DoD and Navy acquisition regulations, processes, and tools. 
• Excellent people skills and ability to clearly communicate both orally and in written form is essential.
• Knowledge of software programming languages such as Java, C , Python a plus.
