Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced daytime Bartender to join our team at Peppermint Hippo. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This position requires strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and bartending techniques.

Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining par levels of supplies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails, pouring beer
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Experience with banquet service is a plus
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Excellent sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Knowledge of different types of beer, wine, spirits, and brewing processes
