Do you have an interest in facilitating an excellent customer experience with children at a recreational facility? "There's more to explore" at the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum as a Playologist - Experience Facilitator. Pay rate: $13.00 per hour

• Facilitate visitors' play experiences in a welcoming, enthusiastic, and open-ended manner at the Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum and PlayHouse at the Plex.
• Care for 7-14 children at the RiverPlex's daycare space.
• Monitor the orderly operations of the PlayHouse and PlayHouse at the Plex including communicating rules to visitors/ field trips and parents and children, and following safety standards and sanitation requirements.
• Engage children, adults, and teachers in play through museum exhibits, educational programs, and personal interactions.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists for PlayHouse at the Plex. Continually organize and clean exhibition spaces throughout the day. Perform in-depth cleaning and resetting of exhibitions for opening and closing procedures daily. Spot clean as needed.
• Lead planned and impromptu group activities and special events as necessary.
• Greet people arriving at workshops in a warm and professional manner.
• Report all visitor comments, complaints, and trends to Visitor and Member Engagement Manager in a timely manner. Report supply needs and exhibition repairs or maintenance to Exhibits Manager in a timely manner.
• Follow and support all aspects of the Park District's safety program.
• Attend all staff meetings as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
